Placement Season Looks Brighter This Year

Institutes are witnessing a lot of first-time recruiters for lateral placements. Besides expecting more offers, they are expecting higher salaries. IIM-A has more than 50 per cent of its batch eligible for the lateral placements this year. On the other hand, at IIM Calcutta (IIM-C), around 160 students of a batch of 286, are going to participate in the lateral placements this year. At IIM Bangalore (IIM-B), as well, lateral placement has started and companies are loosening their purse strings to entice students.
