MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
MAT Overview:
MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. The next MAT exam will be conducted on 2nd December 2007. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com. B.Tech. etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different MI’s / Universities. The number of participating Management Institute’s may vary. The number of Management Institute’s keeps on changing from test to test. Admission criteria for every institute are different. All Institutes participating in MAT are either AICTE approved or affiliated to some Universities, for further information you may contact the Institutes / Universities of your choice. The list of various Institutes / Universities is available in MAT bulletin along with the admission notification. Paper Pattern:
>Total Questions: 200
>Time: 150 minutes
Marks allocation:
>Correct attempt: 1 mark
>Incorrect attempt: 1/4th negative marking

How to Apply:
To obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form by post, send a Demand Draft of Rs. 690/- to AIMA-CMS, drawn in favour of AIMA - CMS payable at New Delhi along with two self addressed slips/adhesive stickers. Send your request to Sr Dy Director, All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003.

Obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form on cash payment of Rs 650/- at AIMA counter at Delhi (Tel:- 24653382), select Bank of Baroda (BoB) Branches, AIMA Nodal Centres and other outlets.
