XLRI Students Being Wooed By Top Companies At Top Salaries

It is boom time for XLRI students who are getting big offers from prestigious companies during lateral placements this year. This is for the second time consecutively that the annual salary offered to an XLRI student has crossed the $100,000-mark.While Novartis offered this package to a student in 2007, Infosys has given at least six such offers to students this year. Infosys would place selected students in the US or Europe after training them in India for a year. Students of finance, consultancy, operations, marketing and human resource have received best offers this year. The average salary package offered at the recently concluded lateral placements at XLRI was Rs 15 lakh.
